Co-creation Lab

The Co-Creation Lab was developed within the transformation focus area and inaugurated in 2024 at Uppsala University Conflicting Objectives Research Nexus (UUniCORN). The lab is dedicated to tackling wicked sustainability challenges. These challenges are characterised by conflicting objectives and unpredictable outcomes, and demand collaboration across disciplines, sectors and societal boundaries.

Eva is the program director of Mistra Environmental Communication. She is also working as a researcher within Focus area Transformation.

To navigate this complexity, the lab has developed a co-creation approach, which enables collaboration between researchers, policymakers, businesses, NGOs, and citizens. We have developed tools such as transformative game design, storytelling methods, processes for co-creating imaginaries and other participatory approaches to jointly define problems and explore alternatives.
