Imaginaries contribute to scenario development for societal transformation, and in the co-creation process stakeholder groups learn about how their views differ and overlap, and how to collaborate for their desired futures.  

So far, the project has focused on multi-stakeholder groups that had developed imaginaries concerning urban development and greenery in a major Swedish municipality. Our intervention enabled the stakeholders to critically reflect on their own and others’ imaginaries and identify the most important aspects, and overall we found a significant potential for MCA to act as a bridge between co-created imaginaries and policy-making.
